Todd Ryden serves as the Chief Executive Officer of FNEX, LLC, the first Private Securities Marketplace connecting institutional investors, family offices, private equity groups, investment advisors and accredited investors to investment opportunities in private companies, hedge funds, real estate investments and managed futures accounts. FNEX’s mission is to help investors source alternative investment opportunities and help offering groups connect with investors. Mr. Ryden is a co-founder of The Applied Group and currently serves as its Managing Director. TAG is a private equity group, founded by experienced entrepreneurs and managers, who have started, grown and exited several ventures and seek to acquire and invest in companies primarily in the software, technology and technology services market segments. After practicing law, Mr. Ryden co-founded and served as COO and General Counsel for StarCom Broadband, a cable and high-speed internet provider acquired by Comcast in April 2001. Todd co-founded Caldera Development which focuses on commercial retail development in central Indiana and in addition, he co-founded ViaStar Energy, Inc. in 2001 and served as its co-CEO, focusing his daily attention to business development, operations, customer care, and marketing. Prior to going into business, Mr. Ryden’s legal career included litigating at the Indiana Supreme Court, and representing the State of Indiana in tobacco litigation. He serves on the Board of Directors of Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Central Indiana and serves as a member of the American and Indiana Bar Associations. He has been a guest lecturer at Purdue University, Ball State University and the University of Indianapolis. Todd obtained his Juris Doctorate from Indiana University School of Law in Indianapolis, has a certificate in International Contract Law from Tulane University, Paris, France, and obtained his B.A. from Purdue University.
